This was one of the most applauded proposals by critics and audiences in the past Grec Festival of Barcelona. Written by French playwright and director Frédéric Sonntag and produced by Sala Beckett, George Kaplan is a modern comedy about the relationship between power and fiction, politics and entertainment, society and its own myths.
The work is divided into three scenes currently very attached to and related to each other by a name, George Kaplan. A tribute to the film With North by Northwest of Alfred Hitchcock where Roger O. Thornhill (Gary Grant) is mistaken for George Kaplan, who eventually turns out to be a false identity used by the CIA.
The production is directed by Toni Casares and performed by Sara Espigul, Borja Espinosa, Francesc Ferrer, Jordi Figueras and Sandra Moncliis.
