The stage of the Teatre Principal becomes a cinema screen for the projection of this film based on the famous play by Jordi Teixidor published in 1968. El retaule del flautista is a farce of the classic tale The Pied Piper of the Brothers Grimm, and denounces the political situation in the last years of the Franco regime in Spain.
The film is directed by Ricard Reguant and is a co-production of Fausto Producciones and TVC.
