'Black Box Music'

Bringing music closer to the new generations so that they can feel and enjoy it in all its dimensions is the objective of Black Box Music, a show that combines music and puppet theater to explore the relationship between the sounds and the movements that these sounds emit. . A proposal that wants to show that music does not have to be understood exclusively from auditory perception, but that it can also be visual.

With the artistic direction of Carlota Cáceres, who also performs as a soloist on percussion, the concert is performed for the most part by students from the Conservatori Superior de les Illes Balears.

The program consists of Black Box Music (2012), by Simon Steen-Andersen; Winternacht (1978) by Hans Abrahamsen; and Asko concerto (1999-2000), by Elliott Carter.

The Conservatori students who take part are: Isabel López (flute), Pere Nos (oboee), Joana Maria Albons (clarinet), Miquel Joan Gelabert (bass clarinet), Jordi Albertí (bassoon), Marilen Escriva (saxophone), German Jimenez ( trumpet), Rosa Rodrigo (horn), José Manuel Vazquez (trombone), Rubén Collazo (percussion), Bel Miquel (percussion), Jon Garzón (percussion), Hannah Siebert (percussion), Leila Akaarir (piano), Eric Ledo (piano ), Raquel Aparisi (violin), Jaime Gómez (violin), Gemma Monton (violin), Enrique Baiget (viola), Sarah Santoni (cello), Joan Fiol (cello), Miquel Flores (baritone sax) and Jordi Rodriguez (bass sax ).

The rest of the performers are: Jose Fortea (horn), Jaume Gimerno (harp), Jaume Roselló (electric guitar), Esteban Belinchon (cello) and Maria Servera (double bass).
