'Casandra (o la llave sin puerta)'

0 Votes

The Sa Boira company stages this text written by María Luisa Algarra and directed by Bernat Pujol and Mateu Fiol.

The approach of Casandra (o la llave sin puerta) is a clear denunciation of the pettiness of the bourgeoisie and the logical response of the working class. The character Juana (Casandra, who gives the title to the work, daughter of Hécuba who foresees the future) is the misunderstood daughter lost in a bourgeois family due to her supernatural ability to place herself above the other characters, and to sentence truths that they ignore or refuse to acknowledge.

Performers: Joan Moreno, Cati Garcia, Mariló Rivero, Carles Juvert, Mari Carmen Sánchez, Maria Llobera, Manolo Serrano, Santi Muñoz, León López, Antònia Burguera, Zulima Manzaneque, Moisés Córdoba, Jesús Romero, Mateu Segura, Maria Bel Sureda, Pilar Redondo, María Ángeles Cutillas, Toni Sorà, Maria Antònia Pascual and Catalina Cañellas.

Sa Boira is a theater group of la ONCE and is made up of blind and visually impaired actors from the Balearic Islands. In 2013 he won the Max Award, along with the entire Eleven Theater Movement for the best amateur group.
