The starting point of Estúpids is The fundamental laws of human stupidity, a smart and fun essay by Carlo Maria Cipolla which qualifies the stupid as a group mightier than large organizations like the mafia, a group that without rules or leaders has devastating effects on society.
Under the direction of Blanca Bardagil, actor Ferran Rañé plays the role of a prestigious professor who teaches a traveling conference on stupidity. But today he is late and his assistant Lluís Guiu offers to begin the conference, imitating him and lead the audience to his private and charming world.
