The young Catalan pianist Eudald Buch closes the new edition of the Valldemossa Chopin Festival with a concert dedicated to Frédéric Chopin and Alexander Scriabin.
Eudald Buch (1997) has trained at the Escolanía de Montserrat and Chetham's School of Music in Manchester. He has studied with Vladislav Bronevetzky at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya and with Elisso Virsaladze at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
He has also received masterclasses from Pascal Devoyon, Jacques Rouvier and especially Christian Blackshaw. He has played at the Buxton and Hellens festivals (England), The International Holland Music Sessions, Weltkassik (Germany), the Vilabertran Schubertiade and live on the BBC.
As a soloist he has collaborated with the Vic Chamber Orchestra, the Chetham's Symphony Orchestra and this season he debuts at the Palau de la Música Catalana, at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid and at the Auditori de Barcelona.
Eudald Buch is currently expanding his studies with Virsaladze in Fiesole (Florence) and in November 2021 he was distinguished with the El Primer Palau Prize awarded by the Palau de la Música Catalana.

The Chopin Festival 2022 is organized by the Associació Festivals de Valldemossa with the sponsorship of the Department of Culture, Heritage and Language Policy of the Consell de Mallorca.
Program 4 concerts in the month of August, which are held on Sundays in the cloister of the Cartoixa de Valldemossa with four young emerging pianists on the international level of classical music.
In addition to the concerts in the cloister, in the Sala Capitular de la Cartoixa you can see, from August 5 to 28, the exhibition Tintaigua by the Mallorcan plastic artist Mateu Coll, author of the poster for the new edition of the festival.
