The soprano Mari Paz Juan, accompanied on piano by Joan Roig, offer this concert that will show the difficulties and skills required by the duo format. The first part of the program will be dedicated to the Lieds of P.I. Tchaikovsky (1840-1983) and Edward Grieg (1843-1907).
The Lied is a brief lyric song for solo voice and accompaniment (usually piano) typical of the Germanic countries. It arose in the Classical period (1760-1820), flourished during the Renaissance and evolved throughout the twentieth century.
