The 24th edition of the Festival Internacional Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca hosts the premiere in Spain of Macbeth Muet, by the Canadian company La Fille du Laitier. An object and gestural theater show by puppeteers Marie-Hélène Bélanger and Jérémi Francoeur, with music by Jon Lachlan Stewart.
Macbeth Muet completely deconstructs Shakespeare's written tragedy into a visceral, repetitive theatrical experience, using the body, objects as images, and a ton of fake blood.
The 24th edition of the Festival Internacional Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca will be held from May 16 to 22 with a total of 56 performances (29 in Palma and 27 in municipalities on the island) by 21 professional companies from Canada, Slovakia, France , Mexico, Czech Republic, Andalusia, Aragon, Catalonia and
Majorca. Two of the shows will premiere in Spain and 11 in the Balearic Islands.
