The conductor and the National Music Prize 2008 José Luis Temes, offers this conference on Mallorcan composer Pedro Miguel Marques (1843-1918), known as the Spanish Beethoven. He is the author of the zarzuela El anillo de hierro (The iron ring), a lyric drama in three acts with text by Marcos Zapata set in the coast of Norway in the late eighteenth century.
