The Jazz Voyeur Festival said goodbye this year with the Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral, who presents his new CD Mano a mano  with Julio Resende on piano, André Rosinha on bass and Bruno Pedroso on drums.

Salvador Sobral (Lisbon, 1989) won the first place in the Eurovision festival 2017 representing Portugal with his song Amar Pelos dois (Amar por los dos), which has made him a 'national hero'.

A lover of alternative music and jazz, he did not start to dedicate himself professionally to music until he came to live in Spain. First with an Erasmus scholarship when studying Sports Psychology in Palma de Mallorca; later when he decided to move to Barcelona to begin his studies at Taller de Músics.

His health problems forced him to retire from the stages in September 2017. For the occasion he gathered his fans in a large garden where he gave a concert to say goodbye to them, although assuring that it would be something temporary and that he had the intention to sing again once recovered.

After his heart-transplant, he has returned to the stages and one of them will be in Palma, in the last event of the 11th Jazz Voyeur Festival.
