Oriol Tarrasón directs this free adaptation of An enemy of the people, by the Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, staged by the young Catalan theater company Les Antonietes.
It is believed that Ibsen wrote this drama in 1882, in answer to attacks on his work Specters prohibited for fifteen years in Norway considered revolutionary. The protagonist of An Enemy of the People is Dr. Stockmann, a man of strong convictions denouncing the contamination of the waters of the spa, the main source of income for the village.
A work of suspense where two opposing questions arise: first, the ideal of justice and truth; secondly, human cowardice. It is interpreted by Bernat Quintana, Pep Ambròs, Annabel Castan, Mireia Illamola and Arnau Puig.
