German silent film classic that tells the legend of a statue: the Golem. In the 16th century, in the Prague ghetto, lived Rabbi Löw, magician and master in the art of necromancy. To prevent the expulsion of the Jews, ordered by Emperor Rudolph II, he modeled the clay figure of the Golem and invoked the spirit of Astaharot to grant him life.
