Fils de la Serra III is a series organized by the modernist museum Can Prunera whose aim is to promote artists who have worked in the Sierra de Tramuntana. The series now approaches the work of Tom Weedon and his daughter Cordelia, who left their photographic mark in Sóller valley.
Ulls del temps (Eyes of Thime) show photograhs taken in Mallorca between 1956 and 1970. Places and customs which have disappeared from a photographic viewpoint influenced by the great masters, where the character portrayed is dignified. With this exhibition, which can also be seen in Fornalutx, Cornelia hopes to show the work of her father, who died prematurely over two decades ago.
The opening day of the exhibition will also be shown for the first time Tête de Femme by Joan Miró, a piece of bronze made by the lost wax technique dating from 1974. It has been donated by Miró to Successió Can Prunera for a certain period of time.
