📖 A musical journey of shared roots

The recital draws from classical repertoire to explore diverse musical styles and geographical backgrounds from a shared perspective. Featuring works by composers such as Isaac Albéniz, Astor Piazzolla, Marin Marais, and Jacques Ibert, the programme brings together pieces composed across Spain, France, Italy, and the Americas.

Despite their diverse geographical origins, all selected compositions share a single essence: the unmistakable Spanish flair that resonates throughout their melodies, rhythms, and harmonies.

🎶 Micro-concerts with Catalina Roig and María Assumpció Janer

This performance is part of the Microconciertos series, presenting short, small-format concerts by ensembles selected in the CaixaForum 2026 open call for musical performances. To enrich the experience, the musical programme is accompanied by a brief educational introduction by the musicians themselves, contextualising each work.
