🌍 What is EMIFF

Born in Mallorca, the EMIFF has become an international meeting point for filmmakers, actors, producers and film loversIts programming typically includes feature films, short films, documentaries, international premieres, industry meetings, talks, and networking activities.

At the center, things remain the same: Independent voices, diverse perspectives, and cultures that connect through filmwith Mallorca as an essential part of its identity.

This year's official poster features a crab designed by Olaf MeyerInspired by one of the Mediterranean's most famous inhabitants, the festival's character is resilient, tenacious, and determined to forge its own path. It serves as a metaphor for the festival itself: moving differently, exploring new perspectives, and making room for stories that don't fit into the mainstream.

It also completes a visual trilogy dedicated to the marine life of the Balearic Islands:
