📖 About the workshop

A paleontologist's work is often like that of a detective. Through careful observation, comparison, classification, and analysis of fossils and rock layers, scientists develop hypotheses about events that occurred in Earth's deep past.

In this activity, participants step into the shoes of a paleontologist to identify and classify fossils, simulate fossilization processes to interpret historical eras, and observe experimentally how rock sediments form.
