The Mallorca Jazz sa Pobla 2026 Festival also invites the youngest children to be part of the musical experience with Jazzet, a family day created to bring jazz closer to children through play, sound exploration and creativity.

He July 31, he Can Planes Museum will host a program designed for families with children 0 to 10 yearswhere music becomes a shared experience. Through participatory workshops, sensory activities, and a final concert, young children can discover the rhythms, melodies, and essence of jazz in an engaging and fun way. ✨

Jazzet was created with the idea of showing that jazz is not just a musical genre to listen to, but also a space for experimentation and imagination. Improvisation, one of its fundamental characteristics, allows children to approach music through curiosity, movement, and active participation.

The proposal is directed by the musician and creator Cecilia Giménez, along with a team of outstanding performers made up of Masé Jara (double bass), Toni Frontera (battery), Joan Frontera (piano) and Pere Miquel (saxophone). Together they will accompany families on a journey through different forms of musical expression, from rhythm and percussion to voice and improvisation.

The program includes drum workshops, music for babies, harmony, vocal games and a family concert with an artistic proposal that unites music and visual creativity through a collective painting jam.

A perfect opportunity to experience the festival from another perspective and discover that jazz can also be a language for all ages.
