Lighthouses, cliffs, pine forests and seabeds: Calvià devotes a whole Saturday to its natural heritage and how to protect it. 🌿🌊
Calvià Town Council's Environment Department, together with local organisations, hosts a day of talks and debate open to everyone.
🌿 CALVIÀ'S NATURE, PRESENT AND FUTURE
📅 Saturday 17 October 2026
🕐 10 am to 4.35 pm
📍 Es Generador, Son Caliu (Calvià)
🎟️ Free entry, no registration needed
🔎 The day
A day to learn, share and debate about biodiversity, conservation and the future of Calvià's natural heritage. Specialists and organisations working on the ground present their work and open the discussion to residents.
Calvià has a lot to look after: the coastline of Cala Figuera and El Toro, the Malgrat islet, the public estate of Galatzó and the Serra de Tramuntana, plus a shoreline under heavy tourist pressure. Understanding the state of that heritage is the first step towards deciding what it will look like in the years ahead.
🏛️ Es Generador
Es Generador is Son Caliu's municipal space for youth, participation and culture.
ℹ️ Good to know: the sessions are expected to be mainly in Catalan. Come for the whole day or just the talks that interest you.
✨ For everyone who loves Calvià beyond its beaches.
