📖 Joan Alcover

Joan Alcover (Palma, 1854-1926) is one of the great voices of Mallorcan poetry and the author of La Balanguera, now the anthem of Mallorca. His work, shaped by loss and by the island's landscape, has been set to music many times over the past century.

🏛️ The Casal de Peguera

The Casal de Peguera is the area's main cultural venue and hosts much of Calvià Town Council's programme of concerts, theatre and presentations.
