Fire, dimonis and heavy rock to open one of Mallorca's biggest sporting weekends. Peguera kicks off Challenge Peguera Mallorca 2026 with a night that is anything but ordinary. 🔥🤘

First, a correfoc of Mallorcan dimonis (fire devils) sweeps along the boulevard with flares, drums and sparks. Then Mallorcan band Trallery takes the stage in Plaça de Torà with their Metallica tribute.

The procession sets off at 8.00 pm near Hotel Villamil and makes its way along Peguera Boulevard to Plaça de Torà, where the dimonis close with a fiery finale.

🎶 Trallery, Metallica tribute

At 9.00 pm, in the finish-line area of Plaça de Torà, Trallery plays Metallica's best-known songs live to keep the party going once the flares go out.

🏊 Challenge Peguera Mallorca

The night opens the programme of the international middle-distance triathlon (1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, 21.1 km run), held on Saturday 17 October starting from Torà beach. From 15 to 18 October there is also an expo, kids' races, Challenge Women, Challenge4All and a junior aquathlon.

ℹ️ Good to know: central Peguera will be closed to traffic from 7.30 to 9.00 pm. For the correfoc, wear cotton, long sleeves and a cap, and keep your distance from the fire.
