📖 The fragility of bonds through the body
Nus is a contemporary dance performance rooted inside the embrace of bodies, where intertwining turns into a place of shared risk and trust. The choreography explores knots: those that support, limit, and condition our relationships, exposing our inherent emotional vulnerability when encountering another.
The piece weaves the botanical with the popular and the animal, creating parallel realities where time blurs. Through the subtle encounter of skin, hugs appear in every form: sustaining, liberating, reconciling, or dreamed. Sharing weight, friction, and balance, the dancers examine union and separation with their surrounding space.
🎭 Coproduction and scenic context
This work is a coproduction of Teatre Principal de Palma with Maya Triay and Mariona Jaume, supported by EiMa Creació, l’Animal a l’Esquena, Espai Cos, and Teatre de Capdepera. It is staged at Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza for Fira B!
