The Mallorca Jazz Festival sa Pobla 2026 is also experienced with your feet in motion. The Sa Pobla Lindy Jazz Connexió program invites you to discover the most joyful, social, and participatory side of jazz through lindy hop, the dance born in Harlem during the 1930s to the rhythm of swing.

He August 15Sa Pobla will be filled with music, dance, and energy with a day open to all ages, combining workshops, social dancing, and a festive atmosphere designed to enjoy jazz from a different perspective. ✨

Lindy hop is much more than a dance style: it's a form of collective gathering and expression linked to the history of jazz. Its movements, improvisation, and connection between dancers reflect the same free and creative spirit that characterizes the musical genre.

The day will begin with a Lindy Hop introductory workshopThis activity is ideal for those who want to try this dance for the first time. No prior experience or partner is necessary: participants will learn the basic steps, the swing rhythm, and the keys to enjoying the dance in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

After the workshop, the celebration will continue with a social ballad with The Monkey Swingerswhere the dance floor will be open for practicing, sharing, and letting yourself be carried away by the music. A perfect opportunity to dance alongside other enthusiasts and experience the community spirit of swing.

The day will end with dinner and background music at Espai Utòpik, putting the finishing touch on a proposal that unites culture, movement and coexistence.
