Sankt Martin 2026 at Puerto Portals: Lanterns and Tradition

Puerto Portals lights up once again with the magic of lanterns and a warm charitable spirit in a family gathering by the sea. 🏮✨

The marina hosts the 12th edition of Sankt Martin, an autumn European tradition that fills the harbour with creative workshops and community celebration.

📖 Creative workshops, storytelling and lantern parade

Children are invited to take part in an activity circuit featuring a lantern-making workshop, a cookie-decorating session, and the storytelling of the Sankt Martin legend. As evening falls, the young participants explore the marina carrying their illuminated lanterns in search of Sankt Martin on horseback.

The celebration draws to a close with hot chocolate and cookies shared among families in a festive atmosphere.

❤️ A charity celebration supporting Fundación RANA

The event maintains a strong charitable focus: all proceeds from registration fees are donated directly to Fundación RANA, a Balearic non-profit dedicated to preventing child abuse and child sexual abuse. Furthermore, Puerto Portals contributes an additional €3 for every registered child.

ℹ️ Good to know: Designed for children aged 4 and older. Each participating child requires an advance registration ticket to collect an activity wristband at the information booth.
