8 September is Palma's big day: the feast of the Mare de Déu de la Salut, patron saint of the city. ⛪💙

The central celebration is the solemn mass at the Basílica de Sant Miquel, where her image is venerated.

🙏 The celebration

The mass is presided over by the Bishop of Mallorca, Sebastià Taltavull, and brings together authorities, city organisations and residents from every neighbourhood.

It closes the programme of the patron saint festivities, the day after the floral offering.

🏛️ Basílica de Sant Miquel

Standing on Carrer de Sant Miquel, it is one of Palma's most historic churches and the home of the image of the Mare de Déu de la Salut all year round.

💙 Patrona 2026 festivities

From 4 to 8 September: children's activities and a DJ night at sa Feixina, the big PATRONA concert at Parc de la Mar, the floral offering on the 7th and this solemn mass as the closing act.
