📖 Body percussion and traditional singing

Traditional music features melodic simplicity, call-and-response patterns, homophonic vocal harmony, ostinatos, and percussion. These elements provide an accessible gateway to vocal practice and multi-part singing.

During the session, participants explore body percussion alongside rhythm, coordination, laterality, focus, and teamwork. Families will assemble a brief folk music repertoire from across the globe, combining body percussion, vocal harmonies, and movement.
