Under the direction of the great Pitus Fernandez, the company La Impaciència stages this production with which they pay tribute to Luigi Pirandello (1867-1936), one of the leading innovators of twentieth century theater. And it does so through one of his most sublime plays, The man with the flower in his mouth.
Ma perché Pirandello reflects on the role of contemporary theater with a mix of unfortunate characters, for which it can be defined as comic, absurd and slapstick. The work situates us in the rehearsals of a new play prepared by a theater company. As the function approaches, the differences between actor, director, producer and exhibitor will be accentuated.
Interpreted by Luca Bonadei, Rodo Gener and Salvador Oliva, who shares responsibility for the text with the Italian playwright.
