An exhibition which includes a selection of works from the last thirty years of creation of the German painter Alfred Lichter, in this period, the artist, who had previously joined the currents of modernity through expressive pictorial language, pursued the concept of abstract painting.
Under the title Capriccio he grouped the works in which he explored the intrinsic effect of visual media. They are simple paintings with rich colors which are situated next to others that are deeply serious.
In the exhibition you can also see stunning large paintings of the last creative two years of the artist who died in Alaro in 2012. Examples are the works Constellation and Ashoka VI.
