For Pep Canyelles, this project which he now presents in the gallery Espai HC Lluc Fluxà is special for several reasons. On the one hand, because it is a reflection on the passage of time, old age - that place we are all destined to-, loneliness and memory. On the other hand, because it is a project that is created developed and lived along with his daughter Elisa Canyelles. It is also the end of a trilogy on which the artist has been working in recent years and that complete Territori ocupat and Territoris vigilats.
Futur imperfecte encompasses several media to tell a story that is nothing other than the path we follow in life. En Joguines, a selection of small sculptures-toys, brings us to that territory we call childhood in which we lay the roots on which will develop the tree of our adult lives.
The book Efectes secundaris contains a collection of visual poems consistent of images stored in glass jars, memory-related items, and accompanied by poems written between 2005 and 2009. It also includes some of the talks held over a period of time with elders of a residence and that form part of the short film Iaia, which puts the finishing touch to this project on the passing of time. In Iaia participate Aina Segura, Esperança Font and Elisa Canyelles.
