This series of organ concerts began in December 2006 thanks to the recovery of the organ of Alaró, an ancient instrument of the eighteenth century by Pere Josep Boch, by the intervention of Gerhard Grenzing.
The Saturday’s interpretations on the organ have been matched with the market day of the village and are inspired by the concert of Advent organized by Dieterich Buxtehude in Lubeck (Germany).
During these years the organist has been Miquel Bennàssar, organist, but has also featured more than 30 artists from across Europe. Invited have been organists as Jan Willem Jansen, a regular contributor to Jordi Savall, Jürgen Essl, one of the most prestigious composers of Germany or Sweden's Hans-Ola Ericsson.
