Music, literature, art, markets, traditions, landscape, gastronomy ... these elements are combined in the new edition of Wine Days Mallorca, a fair organized by the Designation of Origin Binissalem and which offers a different way to visit the island through wine tourism. This year the theme of the fair is nine days nine experiences.
Mallorca Wine Days is held from 14 to 22 May and programs a huge amount of cultural activities to tour the five municipalities that are part of the Designation of Origin Binissalem: Binissalem, Consell, Santa Maria del Cami, Sencelles and Santa Eugenia.
Activities such as visits, excursions and open doors to wineries and cellars of the DO, archaeological visits to sites in the region, their weekly markets, tastings of wine and tapas or a demonstration of processing artisan sheep cheese, among many others. See full programming.
Other activities include the II Jornada de Enoturismo (Second Day of wine Tourism) (Friday 20 May) at the Escola de Hosteleria, and the Fair Wine Days Mallorca-DO Binissalem 2016 , with wine and gastronomy of Food-Trucks from local restaurateurs (Saturday 21).
The evenings will be enlivened with concerts in gardens, bodegas, auditoriums and churches. A program to enjoy the enological tradition of Mallorca.
