Andrea Motis comes to the Auditori de Porreres with Intimate, her most stripped-back album yet: voice, trumpet and two guitars. It is the second night of the Alternatilla Jazz Festival, now in its tenth edition. 🎺🎶
The trumpeter and singer from Barcelona's Sant Andreu district performs as a Guitar Trio, with Josep Traver and Jurandir dã Silva on guitars.

🎺 The concert
Intimate (2026) was recorded between Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro and Montoliu de Segarra. It is music made for close listening: Motis's voice at the centre, with the trumpet stepping in and out of the conversation.
Traver and dã Silva do more than accompany. The guitars ask, answer and sometimes leave the song hanging in the air.
The repertoire moves freely between jazz, bossa nova, folk song and French chanson, with very personal takes on Amy Winehouse, Chico Buarque, Bill Withers, Georges Brassens and Djavan, alongside original songs.
🎷 Alternatilla Jazz Festival #10
Since 2005, Alternatilla has brought top-level jazz all over Mallorca, from Palma to the island's villages. This tenth edition tours auditoriums and churches across the island and closes on 10 December at the Teatre Principal in Palma with the Alternatilla Jazz Band.
Andrea Motis picked up the trumpet at the age of 7 in Joan Chamorro's Sant Andreu Jazz Band and now has an international career of over fifteen years and a dozen albums.
ℹ️ Tip: the auditorium is small and tickets are running low, so book ahead.
✨ Three musicians, two guitars, one voice and a trumpet, just a few metres from the audience.
