📖 The dance floor as a relic and community space

Club Miseria: The Last Beat does not aim to reconstruct the original club, but to evoke it as a relic, a sign, and a final pulse. The exhibition unfolds across Casal Solleric through an archaeological capsule visible from Passeig del Born, an acid green lighting intervention, and a monumental inflatable sculpture in the central courtyard.

During Nit de l'Art 2026, the courtyard comes alive with performative DJ sets by Virgen María and Oro Jondo, bridging club culture and contemporary art. In this context, the dance floor operates as a gathering tool and space occupation, inviting visitors to circulate, listen, or immerse themselves in the atmosphere.
