📖 Environmental action and marine awareness

During this two-hour morning clean-up, participants will help collect debris along the shoreline, focusing particularly on cigarette butts, plastic waste, and microplastics. This hands-on work aims to mitigate the direct harm caused by discarded items to marine ecosystems while safeguarding the coastal biodiversity of Calvià.

In addition to collecting waste, the event offers an educational opportunity to understand the real-world impact of plastic pollution and learn how collective everyday efforts can protect Mallorca's marine environment.

🌱 Mallorca Preservation initiative

Mallorca Preservation supports projects dedicated to protecting the island's landscapes, seas, and natural resources. Organized as part of its Academia del Clima framework, this gathering invites the community to take active part in caring for local nature through direct citizen engagement.

ℹ️ Good to know: Suitable for all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. Rubbish bags and gloves will be provided by the organizers. Participants should bring water and wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Places are limited; advance registration on Eventbrite is required.

✨ A meaningful morning dedicated to protecting the sea and caring for Mallorca's coastline.
