Calonge closes the festive calendar of the Santanyí municipality with its patron saint festival: three weeks of tradition, music, fairs and folk culture in a village that takes to the streets. 🥁🎉

The Festes de Sant Miquel 2026 come with a programme put together by Santanyí Town Council and the village associations, with the Arcàngels i Dimonis of Calonge as its great hallmark.

Friday 18 · 8 pm the 1st Photography Contest opens at the parish hall; 8.30 pm at the Església Vella, "Festa del vers", 13th anniversary of local publisher AdiA Edicions with poetry, music and a wine tasting.

Saturday 19 · 7.30 pm raising of the festival flag at the bell tower and street parade with the Xeremiers des Poble pipers, the Archangels and Demons, the Majoral de Pina and the Giants of Santanyí, followed by Mallorcan folk dancing in the square.

Sunday 20 · 9.30 am 27th outing to Mondragó by cart, horse, bicycle or on foot.

Friday 25 · 5.30 pm tribute to the village elders and musical bingo; 8 pm opening of Jaume Julià's cactus and plant exhibition.

Saturday 26 · 7 pm mass; 9 pm Calonjove, the young people's open-air party with DJ Simon Privé, Romandre, Felip Duran, Cirko, DJ BJ, Paller and Sergi Ales.

Sunday 27 · 10 am 19th Calonge Fair (organic produce and crafts) and 10th Popular Race; 5 pm five-a-side football tournament; 8 pm concert "Un món de Cançons" by the Coral de Porreres choir.

Monday 28 · 6 pm cake and pastry contest; 8 pm "pamboli" village supper in the square and the musical show "Cabaret de Revetla".

Tuesday 29, Sant Miquel's day · 10.45 am parade; 11 am solemn mass and the dance of the Archangels and Demons; 1.30 pm communal paella with live music; 9 pm comedy night with Agustín el Casta and fireworks.

Friday 2 October · 6.30 pm talk on the origins of Calonge by Pep Estelrich, followed by a concert with Biel Tous and Marga Pocoví.

Saturday 3 · 10 am children's day Sant Miquelet; 7 pm Sant Francesc mass; 7.30 pm 15th line dancing gathering and supper; 10 pm grand open-air dance "La Noche Baila" with Orquestra Oasis and La Década Prodigiosa.

Sunday 4 · 9 am 15th Calonge motorbike run, Ducati stunt show by Emilio Zamora and afternoon live music.

Sunday 11 · 10 am 4th Legend Cars classic car show in the main square.

🎪 The Archangels and Demons

The dance of the Archangels and Demons of Calonge is one of Mallorca's most deeply rooted ritual dances. It is performed in the church square on the patron saint's day, accompanied by traditional pipers.

ℹ️ Good to know: most events are in Catalan. Tickets for the pamboli supper and the paella must be bought in the village shops before 22 September, and you are asked to bring your own plate, glass and cutlery.
