📖 The play
A fictional thriller built from the life and ideas of Josep Ferragut Pou and Gabriel Alomar Esteve, two architects at the heart of Palma's urban and architectural transformation in the second half of the 20th century, in the middle of the tourist and economic boom.
Ferragut had close ties with Alcúdia: he designed the Concha del Lago apartments, the Gesa I power station village and its church, the church at Moll de Sant Pere and Alcúdia's 1960s urban plan, which he drew up as the town's planning officer.
Cast: Xisco Segura, Miquel Àngel Torrens, Caterina Alorda and Xen Garcinuño.
🏆 Awards
Best Show at the Balearic Public Theatres and Auditoriums Awards, the Jaume Damians Award from the Teatre del Mar audience association, and Best Director and Best Show at the Balearic Actors' Awards (AAAPIB).
🍂 Auditori a Cel Obert
With its own stage unavailable, the Auditori d'Alcúdia takes its programme out into the town with A Cel Obert ("Open Sky"), the October to December autumn season under the motto "Culture doesn't stop, it reinvents itself". Theatre, music and small-scale shows spread around the old town: the new stage at the Bastió de Sant Ferran, Sant Jaume church, the courtyard of Can Torró and local bars. Organised by Alcúdia Town Council with the support of the Consell de Mallorca.
