🏛️ The speaker and the heritage series

José Antonio Tajadura Martínez is a seasoned architect and urban planner. Over nearly forty years at Barcelona City Council's Urban Planning Services—which he eventually directed—he was involved in key projects including the city's Olympic transformation, neighborhood revitalizations, and heritage protection.

His published research focuses on medieval history through the territorial, visual, and functional arrangement of historical defensive buildings.
