📖 About the play

Triggered by reading the original letters sent by William Faulkner to his lover Meta Carpenter at a documentation center in Texas, the protagonist decides to examine his own marriage. Through this discovery, he looks back over his emotional journey, the shifts brought about by seventeen years together, the desire to start a family, and unavoidable daily routine.

The piece explores what gets lost along the way, what can be preserved, what one strives not to lose, and the natural evolution of a love that once seemed idyllic in youth.
