Open Music: L'Arannà and Prof Mullet in the courtyard of Can Balaguer

The courtyard of Can Balaguer becomes the stage for the music night of Open House Palma 2026: a bridge between the traditional roots of the islands and contemporary sounds. 🎶🌙

Open Music is the evening event of the architecture festival, whose sixth edition is dedicated to water.

🎤 The line-up

The night opens with a live set by L'Arannà, a duo of sonic research and experimentation that blends traditional music and the folk songbook of Ibiza and Formentera with electronic pop atmospheres.

Then Prof Mullet takes over the turntables with a personal selection of vinyl for the second half of the night.

Beforehand, from 5.30 to 6.30 pm, there is a warm-up at carrer de Paraires 26 with Costagin i Panela.

🏛️ Can Balaguer

The first recorded buildings on this site date from the Middle Ages. The block was divided into four properties, three of which were joined by the Santjoan family; in the 17th century the Sanglada family bought it and carried out a major refurbishment. Today it is Palma City Council's house museum and one of the festival venues.
