📖 About the concert

The concert opens with the premiere of Isla de las Hadas by Gabriel Estarellas, a chance to hear new music born in the islands for the very first time.

Pablo Mielgo then conducts Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 4, his shortest and brightest. In the final movement the voice enters: soprano Marta Bauzà sings “The Heavenly Life”, heaven seen through a child's eyes.
