📖 About the show

Poderío is a monologue with the resonance of a traditional Spanish copla and a strong emotional and social background. Channeling the bold presence of classic folk performers who owned the spotlight without ever making excuses, this comedy routine tackles the times people have taken us for fools, turning that realization into self-empowerment.

In this performance, Riezu looks inward to examine high sensitivity, life experience, healthy defiance, and honest emotional intelligence. Her monologue covers an array of topics: romantic relationships, age, aesthetic pressure, Ozempic, motherhood and childlessness, fertility clinics, egg donation, housing, cystitis, menstrual cups, and crying at yogurt commercials. Everything is delivered through razor-sharp humor, without preachiness or false gravity.

🎭 Virginia Riezu and the venue

After years of pointing out the external judgment faced by female comedians, Virginia Riezu emphasizes that sensitivity is not weakness and that laughing together remains an indisputable form of power.

The performance will be hosted in Sala Mozart at Auditorium de Palma, located on the city's seafront promenade.

✨ An evening of sharp comedy celebrating self-assurance and genuine laughs.
