📖 Stories of migration and identity
To conclude the Migrations series, two interconnected short films will be screened. First, Imade (Ignacio Acconcia, Spain, 2024, 28 min), focusing on a young deaf migrant longing to visit his family in Morocco while coping with isolation.
Next comes Farrucas (Ian de la Rosa, Spain, 2020, 17 min), featuring Hadoum, Fàtima, Sheima, and Sokayna, four teenagers proud of their roots in El Puche (Almería), whose bonds are tested as Fátima turns eighteen.
🎬 Discussion with the screenwriter
The cineforum session will feature the presence and participation of Lara Stoop, screenwriter of Imade, to discuss the works with the audience.
ℹ️ Good to know: Activity aimed at seniors over 65. Imade is screened in Catalan sign language with Spanish subtitles (recommended: +7 years). Farrucas is shown in original Spanish (all audiences).
✨ An engaging film gathering offering fresh viewpoints on migration and personal resilience.
