On April 19th, Palmanova will transform into a large open-air stage where culture, music and creativity come together in a day designed for family enjoyment.

From early morning, the seafront promenade will come alive with activities designed for children: a charming play area, a unique eco-friendly carousel, and face painting sessions that encourage imaginative play. The morning will culminate in a vibrant parade, leading into the official opening of the event.

From 2:00 PM onwards, the energy shifts and live music takes center stage. The main stage will host a carefully curated selection of performances that will continue into the evening, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the sunset by the sea.

The tradition of Sant Jordi unites two symbols for different reasons:

Therose comes from the legend of Sant Jordi: after defeating the dragon, a red rose is born from his blood that the saint gives to the princess, and that is why the day is associated with giving roses.

The book is linked to Book Day because April 23 coincides with the date on which great authors such as Cervantes and Shakespeare, and the idea of giving books as gifts became popular.

Over time, both traditions came together and today is lived as a day ofroses + books: a perfect mix of affection and culture.

Night of signature folk in an intimate format with one of the great guitarists of the genre: Martin Simpson (voice, guitar and banjo) arrives in Porreres as part of a special tour for the 50th anniversary of his debut, and is announced as the only performance in Spain.  🎸🎶

The Thought and Classical Culture Course at CaixaForum Palma marks its 30th edition, offering a flagship programme focused on reflection, intellectual heritage and the Greco-Latin world.

60 photos that connect Picasso and Miró through two key landscapes: Horta de Sant Joan and Mont-roig del Camp

This exhibition traces the relationship (almost invisible but very real) between Picasso and Miró through the places that marked their work.

Jean Marie del Moral returns to Horta de Sant Joan and Mont-roig del Camp and photographs their shapes, walls, rocks and horizons: two municipalities separated by a few kilometers, with the same ocher land and a surprisingly similar imaginary.

In Horta, Picasso pushes cubism; In Mont-roig, Miró paints his most “detailed” paintings. Everything seen from the poetic perspective of 60 images.

In addition, the exhibition is added to the new PHOTOFEST contest (April–May 2026).
