This is the first edition of the Sa Pobla Coenta Fair, an event that pays tribute to one of the most iconic elements of the gastronomy of this town, the coent.
A spicy sausage dried and flattened by hand to facilitate the drying process that over the years has been a culinary reference in Sa Pobla thanks to its traditional dishes, where the coent has always been the protagonist.
From fried food to espinagades, rice or eels, the coent is an element that has marked the gastronomic identity of Sa Pobla.
The fair is held on Saturday 14 September, and on the 13th, 14th and 15th a Gastronomic Exhibition takes place in which 11 bars and restaurants from Sa Pobla participate.

19.30 h. Triband gastronomic tasting. The chef Miquel Àngel Coll Sureda will fuse the dishes of the company Backwaren Gourmet with the new product of Butxí “Ueep salsa coenta”.
20.30 h. Mallorca championship of eating pebre coents.
It consists of overcoming a series of rounds. The first round begins with a low level pebre coent and, as the rounds advance, the level increases, following the Scoville scale (SHU).
