The galleries have articulated projects that explore contemporary narratives using a plurality of formats and disciplines, without technical or stylistic restrictions. The public will be able to access courses that reflect the diversity of origins and trajectories of the participating authors.
Since the central event is concentrated on the day of the festival, the displays are open to the public during the summer months. The organization has planned a program of free guided visits to facilitate the analysis of the context of the works and promote the understanding of the artistic practices that define the current scene.

The Government and the Pollença City Council, together with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Medicine (General Directorate of Agro-Food Quality and Local Product) and the Fishermen's Association of Pollença, organized this event within the framework of the fair "Flavors of the Bay" with the objective of promoting the consumption of quality local tonyina.
The event combines gastronomy, culture and territory, valuing the privileged environment of Pollença Badia and its ties to the local fishing sector. Tonyina is a seasonal fish caught in a sustainable manner with maximum guarantees of freshness, since the distance between the fisherman and the consumer is minimal. A film and photography series taking place at the Teatre Sa Societat during May. This event is part of Calvià, Year of Cinema, a municipal strategy that positions the audiovisual sector as a key driver of economic, cultural, and tourism diversification for the town.
The series is part of the Atlàntida Film Fest, a festival renowned for combining cinema and critical thought, with previous editions in Palma and Berlin, as well as the Mallorca PhotoFest. The initiative proposes a reflection on the relationship between photography and film under the premise of "The Unsubmissive Image: From Materiality to Politics," exploring everything from experimental avant-gardes to visual practices linked to memory, social commentary, and the construction of new perspectives.
The program, curated by Sofia Moisés, addresses key figures such as Man Ray (dadaism and surrealism, whose work understands cinema as a material extension of photography) and moves towards contemporary uses of the image as archive, testimony and critical tool.
